2006 Twin Cities Book Fair

Jaymes Sorbel, from ChrisLands.com, attended the 2006 Twin Cities Book Fair on July 7 and 8, 2006. Below are some pictures from their trip. Jaymes was excited to meet several booksellers with ChrisLands hosted bookstores

Bruce Herrick and Karen Streator from Hooked on History. Bruce has had a ChrisLands' built bookstore for over 4 1/2 years. Jaymes showed Bruce how to use a few of the newer store administration features. Bruce and Jaymes also spent some time discussing improvements to the ChrisLands system and marketing of Bruce’s book store. Bruce's energy is infectious and Karen must be commended for keeping up.	Gary and Sue Fox from Texas Star Books. Gary is president and Sue is treasurer of the North Texas Bookseller Association. They spent some time talking about their association and other associations website requirements. They also talked about the North Texas Book & Paper Show. Jaymes will attend the show and also plans to go horseback riding.
Paul Garon of Beasley Books. Jaymes was pleasently surprised to learn that Paul is an author in his own right and Jaymes purchased his recent work Black Hoboes & their Songs for his daughter. Paul has several works listed on his website.	More of the Book Fair.
